Three Phase Air Conditioner
Chemicals are used in a three phase air conditioner that converts gas to a liquid and then back to a gas. This transfers the heat inside the building to the air that is outside. There are three main parts to a three phase air conditioner. There is a compressor, a condenser and then an evaporator. The compressor and the condenser a more than likely located on the outside of the three phase air conditioner with the evaporator usually located on the inside of the building. The evaporator is sometimes part of the furnace which is used for heating the building. Freon is the gas that goes through the compressor as very cool low pressure gas. When this happens, it evaporates and extracts heat from the air surrounding it. At this point, the fluid leave the evaporator, it is now cool, low pressure gas and it then returns back to the compressor to start the process all over again. While all this is happening, there is a fan that is connected to the evaporator which circulates the air inside the building to blow across the evaporator fins. Installed in the building will be vents where the air is sucked into the three phase air conditioner and it goes down the ducts. You are pulling hot air into these ducts which is used to cool the gas in the evaporator. This heat is now cooled the air and it is then blown throughout your building, thus giving you cool three phase air conditioning.
