What is a
three phase auger?
There are many types of augers and they basically are a spiral shaped
tool which moves liquids or materials from one area to another area.
There are hand held augers but a
three phase auger is a much
bigger tool to do larger projects and they need three phase power to
operate. The first auger invented was in 200's BC by Archimedes, believe
it or not. They called it a water screw and it was used to transfer
water from lower levels to higher elevations. This auger is still used
today.
Three phase augers
are used in construction to dig holes for deep foundation piles. They
are used in snow blowers to move the snow toward the impeller that
discharges it through a chute.
Harvesters use combines with
enclosed and open augers that move the unthreshed crop into the
threshing mechanism and then moves the crop into and out of the
combine's hopper. Plumbers use three phase augers to remove
obstructions that have infiltrated into the piping systems.
Three phase augers
are used when drilling for oil There are soil augers and rock
augers. The list just goes on and on. Anywhere where you
have a need to drill, or move liquids or materials from one place to
another, the three phase auger is used.

three phase auger
requires that you have three phase power to operate it. The best
