Three Phase Chain Saw
Three phase
chain saws are
saws that are powered with three phase power to cut things like large
trees, concrete, brick, natural stone and many more applications.
They are generally more quiet than a gasoline run chain saw. They are
mainly used on large applications. The three phase chain saw
consists of several parts such as the electric motor, the drive
mechanism (which is typically a clutch and sprocket), a guide bar, and a
cutting chain.
The cutting chain in the

constructed from riveted metal sections similar to a bicycle chain but
does not have rollers on it. Each segment of the chain has a small sharp
blade normally called a tooth. A skip tooth chain only has a tooth in
every second link and is usually used for preventing chain clogging when

come in varying pitches and gauges. The motor in a three phase chain
saw drives the cutting chain around the track by a centrifugal
clutch which engages the chain at high speed.

blunt they tend to produce a powdery sawdust. The characteristics
of a sharp chain are longer, clean shavings. The intake filter on a

tends to clog up with sawdust so it needs to be cleaned from time to
