Three Phase Grain Mixer
The three phase grain mixer is
used to mix and blend uniformly, particles of grains of different sizes,
moisture content and bulk density. Mixing grains requires motion of the
particles, which is what the three phase grain mixer does. This
is done with mechanical forces from the
three phase grain mixer with
augers, reels, chains and drums.
There are several different types of
three phase grain mixers on the market today. They include:
* Horizontal Auger - uses one,
two, three or four augers to churn the grain
* Reel Mixer - uses augers and
a reel in which the grain is lifted and tumbled by the reel moving it to
the augers
* Tumble Mixer - a large drum
with spirals on the inside to lift and tumble the grain
* Chain and Paddle - uses a
tub containing a chain and paddles which tumble the grain. An auger
provides additional mixing of the grain
* Vertical Screw Mixer - a
large tub with a single vertical screw. A gearbox and transmission
drives the screw. Knife sections are attached to cut the grain in this

No matter what type of three phase
grain mixer you choose to use, they all must be operated with three
phase power. Since utility companies charge an arm and a leg for
installing three phase power, a phase converter would be an excellent

a better balanced form of three phase power than you can get from the
utility companies.

three circuits that are used to carry three alternating currents of the
same frequency. They reach their instantaneous peak values at three

operates in three different phases which results in a constant flow of

provides a more balanced electricity flow with an uninterrupted flow of
current. Whenever there is a constant flow of electricity, a smoother
form of power is going to be operating the three phase grain dryer
that will eliminate any overheating or damage to the equipment. Always
remember that a true three phase converter should always have a 3-phase
generator with power factor correction.
