Three Phase Tanning Bed
A three phase tanning bed is a
machine that is used for producing an artificial tan to one's body. The
three phase tanning bed imitates the sun's ultraviolet radiation
to do this.
Most three phase tanning beds
emit 95% UVA and only 5% UVB while some of the newer three phase
tanning beds emit 100% UVA rays. UVB rays are considered
carcinogenic so many of the manufacturers of three phase tanning beds

has anywhere from 27 to 60 florescent lamps installed on them.

produce a much higher level of UVA rays and they are regulated by a

the top or the bottom, so that an even tan can be achieved. Most three
phase tanning beds have a maximum exposure time of 20 minutes on them.
